Late Ambassador Vance Amory's body to arrive in St Kitts and Nevis on Wednesday
Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris stated that the dead body of late Ambassador Vance Amory would reach the federation on 20 April 2022 (Wednesday).

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris stated that the dead body of late Ambassador Vance Amory would reach the federation on 20 April 2022 (Wednesday).
It will lie in state at the Parliamentary Chambers, Government Headquarters, Church Street, Basseterre, from Thursday 21st to Friday 22 April 2022, where people can view the body from 9:30 am to 3 pm, respectively.
Prime Minister Harris stated that during these two days, people would be able to file past the casket and deliver their respects. After these two days, the body of the late Former Premier will be transported to Nevis.
Vance Amory passed away on 2 April 2022 in London, United Kingdom. As per reports, he was undergoing medical treatment in the UK, where he took his last breath. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. As per reports, he had cancer and passed away at the age of 72.
Amory was a renowned politician and one of the founding members of the Team Unity coalition. He also served as the Premier of Nevis from 1992 to 2006 and from 2013 to 2017.
