Taurus and Glock pistols found after shooting incident

St. Kitts and Nevis Police have arrested a male adult, a male juvenile and seized two guns in an abandoned building following an early Saturday morning shooting in Ponds Pasture, St. Kitts.
Members of the security forces were patrolling the area around 7 a.m. when gunshots were heard.
"They observed two armed, masked males running. Both individuals were later apprehended in Ponds Pasture and taken into Police custody. No one was injured during the incident.
A search was conducted in the Ponds Pasture area and one black mask, along with one Taurus pistol with 11 rounds of 9 mm ammunition and one Glock pistol with 13 rounds of .40 cal. ammunition were discovered on an abandoned premises. The guns were also taken into Police custody," the police statement said.
"Members of the Crime Scene Unit visited and processed the scene. Items of evidential value were collected. Police investigations into the matter will continue," the police statement said.
