Phase 2, GTTCI construction commences in Guyana, marks step towards tech era
The construction of phase two of the Guyana Technical Training College (GTTCI) has commenced in Port Mourant, Corentyne Berbice. Such a progress in the country is the mark of better leadership of the President of the country, Irfaan Ali.

Guyana: The construction of phase two of the Guyana Technical Training College (GTTCI) has commenced in Port Mourant, Corentyne Berbice. Such a progress in the country is the mark of better leadership of the President of the country, Irfaan Ali.
The phase two of GTTCI will involve building the technologically advanced, multi-disciplinary main campus. This will have the capacity to accommodate 150 students and include administrative offices with all necessary facilities.
Considerably, the first phase of the project included the Facility Simulator (Factor). This was commissioned in February. There has been an investment of over US$100 Million, the project has been signed in collaboration with ExxonMobil.
Once the college is fully constructed, it will be designed to facilitate:
- Oil and gas training
- Hospitality and Tourism Institute
- Port Mourant Training College
