Thursday, 1st February 2024
The Artisan Restaurant in Saint Lucia has proudly made it to the "Best Restaurants" list by National Geographic. The list, which comprised 21 culinary destinations from around the world, has recognized the unique cuisine being served worldwide, with Artisan being ranked at fourth position.
While appreciating the restaurant, Nat Geo said that there are several reasons to swing by Artisan on the way off the island, and the primary among them is its location opposite the Hewanorra International Airport on the southern coast. The article mentioned that the French chef Jacques Chretien's cooking, marrying Gallic styles with Caribbean ingredients, invites travellers to linger. It also suggested the individuals try the spiny lobster soup and truffled scampi as they gaze at golden-hour views of planes on the runway from the Artisan Restaurant.
