Embassy of Brazil to close its doors in St Kitts and Nevis

The Embassy of the Republic of Brazil is closing its doors in St Kitts and Nevis.
This was disclosed Saturday by an individual on the compound of the Embassy of Brazil on Saturday morning when asked for the reasons that there is word that vehicles of the diplomatic mission were to be sold.
He said the Embassy will close soon and a notice of the sale of the vehicles will be issued to the general public.
He gave no information on the reason for the pull out of the Embassy of Brazil from the twin-island Federation.
The Embassy of Brazil was officially opened during a ceremony on Horsford Road in Basseterre in November 2010 by then Prime Minister the Right Hon Dr Denzil L Douglas, then Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon Sam Condor and then Ambassador of Brazil to St Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency Miguel Magailhaes.
