DDA to host first press conference for Mas Domnik Carnival 2024
The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) is all set to host its first Conference for the most awaited Mas Domnik Carnival 2024 today (January 3)

The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) is all set to host its first Conference for the most awaited Mas Domnik Carnival 2024 today (January 3). The press conference will be held at Old Field Cultural Centre in Canefield.
The Mas Domnik Carnival will be opened in Dominica this Saturday (from January 6 to February 14) and will feature a unique bunch of African and French traditions.
The Press Conference will comprise all crucial details about this carnival season in Dominica regarding its schedule of events, information on the opening of the Carnival and measures to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for all attendees.
Further, it will also invite various delegations from the Ministry and the Government of Dominica, who will speak at the Conference and deliver some crucial aspects of this festive season. These delegations are as follows:
- Minister of Tourism in the Commonwealth of Dominica- Denise Charles Pemberton
- CEO of the Discover Dominica Authority- Colin Piper
- Carnival Parade and Road event co-ordinator Charlene White Christian

The Mas Domnik is an annual celebration festival that begins every year in Dominica. This Festival provides a vast platform for young talents across the Caribbean to relive, enjoy and participate in various events, food, fun, and music. The Mas Domnik 2024 will be held under the theme Real Mas and will grace the Caribbean cultures on the community's streets.
