Charges in St Kitts over double murder
Two sisters found dead last week

Police in St Kitts have confirmed that a 34-year-old man has been charged with murder after two sisters were found dead on 1 March.
Orvis Pogson of Keys Village was arrested last week soon after the bodies of 18-year-old Naomi and Jimmyliah Finch, 21, were discovered.
In a press release, the St Christopher and Nevis Police Force said: “Police found the motionless bodies of 18-year-old Naomi and 21-year-old Jimmyliah lying close to the seashore with what appeared to be chop wounds after responding to a report of a stabbing."
WIC News understands that officers have also launched an investigation into a second murder on 2 March.The body of 26-year-old Mikelton Tyson was discovered lying along a road in Phillips Village, with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
The district medical officer visited the scene and pronounced Tyson dead, according to officers.
“Police investigations into this matter are ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Basseterre Police Station at 465-2241 or their nearest police station,” a police release said.
