Antigua: Bail for duo in hurricane relief theft
Items worth more than EC$23,000 were stolen

The two men accused of stealing items belonging to hurricane relief efforts have been granted bail.
Bolas resident Everton Waldron and Dion Browne, who lives in All Saints, were both charged with larceny.An additional charge of handling stolen goods was also handed down before they appeared before chief magistrate Walsh today.
Browne was bailed in the amount of $5,000, with a deposit of $1,000. Waldron’s bail was set at $20,000, with a $5,000 deposit.
The pair are required to report, respectively, to the All Saints and Johnson’s Point police stations everyday.
Browne is alleged to have taken “food and household items” belonging to NODS and worth EC$3,105.20, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda said earlier this week.
Waldron is accused of the same thing, but the items were valued at EC$20,205.79.
When the crimes took place, Brown was employed by NODS as a relief manager, and Waldron was a driver.
