PM Roosevelt Skerrit lands in Guyana to attend Agri-Investment Forum & Expo
Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, landed in Guyana on Wednesday as he will be attending the Agri-Investment Forum.

Roseau, Dominica: Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, landed in Guyana on Wednesday as he will be attending the Agri-Investment Forum & Expo in Georgetown from May 19-21. He arrived at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
The forum is hosted by the Government of Guyana and the CARICOM Secretariat and will be held under the theme "Investing in Vision 25 by 2025.
Participants will address issues linked to agriculture and food production investment, including cross-border investment, smart climate agriculture, and related infrastructural development.
"The meeting is timely for Dominica as we intensify efforts locally to build stronger value chain relationships, promote food security and achieve sustainable growth in the agriculture sector," said Prime Minister Skerrit.
He will be accompanied by Ian Douglas- Minister of Trade, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Business and Export Development, Fidel Grant- Minister of Blue and Green Economy, Agriculture and National Food Security; and Hillary Shillingford of Salisbury and Deles Warrington of Calibishie, commercial farmers, are accompanying me to the meeting.
The forum will also be attended by Gaston Browne- Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Mia Mottley- Prime Minister of Barbados, Pierre J. Charles- PM St Lucia, and several other heads of government from the region.
