Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Abdias Samuel, head of the National COVID-19 Task Force, urged to all travellers arriving in St Kitts and Nevis to upload verified and accurate test results and other pertinent information to the government website for uniform processing of their online immigration and customs forms, as well as arrived into the St.kitts and Nevis. "People are uploading receipts and things that cannot be tested, and that will not be granted. Please make sure that when you upload your test, it verifies everything – the lab, the area of the lab, and the information…," said Mr Samuel during an impressive National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) COVID-19 information update.

He stated that persons who are using home kit testing and others would not be accepted.

He also stated that The Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction [Laboratory Based Molecular Test] is what will be allowed and not any rapid test or any other type of test. It is essential that every person should do so, and if you do not do so, and there is no method of verifying these tests, your application will not be processed.

He added that persons who are uploading incorrect information are putting others at risk, and for that, we would pay a very high cost.

He stated that We see a number of flaws as it regards to the endorsement process where persons are attempting to trick the system with uploading wrong test, inaccurate data and making other things in order for them to travel.

In the end, Mr Samuel praised the team responsible for the vetting process and noted that they are going above and away the call of duty to assure that travellers understand the requirements.
