The applicant must be 18 years old
The applicant must be of good character, without a criminal record
The applicant must have the means to support their other family members during their extended stay in Dominica

Eligible family members include:

The spouse or partner of the main applicant
Main applicant's children or stepchildren under the age of 18 years
Any other relative who is, by reason of age or any decrepitude of body or mind, wholly dependent on the applicant for his/her subsistence

Under the programme, the applicant's children will also be able to continue their education on the island.
