She said there were many new developments in the area of sports in Roseau Central with the newly built courts. She announced that the youth will now have access to table tennis at the new courts.
Melissa Skerrit stated that twenty-two table tennis tables would be distributed across the Roseau area and the outer districts. She said the People's Republic of China donated the tables."I'm pleased to announce that the sporting revolution does not end there as I continue to explore new sporting options specifically for our youth," stated Melissa Skerrit.
She also thanked the Charge D'Affaires of the Chinese embassy Lou Songtao for facilitating this sponsorship.
Furthermore, she encouraged schools to participate in the special training sessions provided by a special coach. She asked people to grasp the fantastic opportunity presented.
