Dominica: PM Roosevelt Skerrit & Melissa Skerrit sent out New Year greetings
Prime Minister of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit and his wife Melissa Skerrit sent out everyone greetings for New Year 2022.

PM said currently, the world is experiencing challenging times due to the outbreak of new variants of COVID-19, but everyone must look at the future with hope. He said that everyone must stay healthy and adhere to protocols.

"Even in these challenging times caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we must maintain our courage and hope for better days ahead. As we say our goodbyes to 2021, may the New Year deliver us all joy, peace, and good health. Melissa Poponne Skerrit, the wife of Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, also sent out wishes to the public. She also posted her message on social media accounts with a photograph wishing "Happy New Year".
"On the occasion of New Year, I wish everyone a year full of happy and delightful moments with family that leave you with the best of the memories. Happy New Year 2022".
She advised people to stay close to their families and make memories for years ahead.
