Weather forecast : Dominica getting hit by a Tropical Wave, thunderstorms expected
The forecast states that a tropical wave is projected to move across the Lasser Antilles during the next 24 hours. This wave is expected to generate cloudiness and shower activity which could be moderate to heavy at times

Continuous raining from intervening night has drenched the island into water. The government weather agency has also issued a forecast on their official website regarding the same.
The forecast states that a tropical wave is projected to move across the Lasser Antilles during the next 24 hours. This wave is expected to generate cloudiness and shower activity which could be moderate to heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms across most of the island chain including Dominica, particularly on Sunday are foreseen. The unstable conditions are expected to linger into Monday.
According to the information provided by the website weather on the isle will fluctuate for the next 24 hours. So far, no cyclone is seen in the Atlantic Ocean or the Caribbean Sea. Wind will blow with the speed of 10 to 35 km/h with higher gusts near showers, the sea will remain moderate but waves up to 2 feet to 7 feet may be seen. Also, Small craft operators and sea bathers particularly on the east coast are advised to exercise cautions.
