Mystelics Vlogs has taken viewers on a tour through hurricane-ravaged Portsmouth, the island's second largest town.

This northwest coast hub was battered by category five Hurricane Maria last week, mirroring the situation across the entire country. The video's presenter, whose own home was reduced to rubble, said that Dominica "like the phoenix, we shall surely rise."

Utility poles and wires lie on the ground, with electricity sparse in certain areas, and buildings have clearly suffered tremendous damage.
