US citizen with gun arrested at St Kitts airport
Virginia man also in possession of ammunition

A US citizen has been charged after a firearm and ammunition was found in his luggage.
Customs officers made the discovery when the luggage of Jonathan McLaughlin passed through scanners at the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport yesterday.
The Virginia resident was set to leave the federation that same day.
The Customs and Excise Department laid charges against McLaughlin for importation of one pistol, possession of 12 rounds of ammunition and a false declaration.
The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force charged him with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
