Trinidad and Tobago: The Port of Scarborough in Trinidad was bustling with cruise activity on Saturday as hundreds of visitors disembarked Celebrity Silhouette to explore the island’s shores. This docking marked the final call of a cruise ship to this port as the cruise season 2023-2024 nears an end in Trinidad and Tobago. While sharing glimpses of the cruise passengers on the Port of Scarborough, the Division of Tourism said, “Visitors stream off the Celebrity Silhouette in the hundreds to experience our beautiful island.” It also added that the last call of the season is expected in Charlotteville on April 21, 2024.

As the magnificent vessel arrived in Trinidad, the officials hosted the welcome party for the visitors. They were seen enjoying the party at the port and exploring the island of Trinidad.

Notably, the Culture Department within the Division of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation has been integral in curating the welcome experience for visitors throughout the entirety of the cruise season.

In addition to this, several of the cruise passengers also went on organised tours to the sister island of Tobago. While sharing the glimpses, the Tourism Division said, “They are off to enjoy the wonders of Tobago.”

The local bus operators and taxi drives have been instrumental in transporting the visitors on the various tours across the island. They made sure that the guests get the best experience during their visit to the twin island nation.

The Tourism Division also appreciated them and outlined, “They are a valued stakeholder in our tourism industry. We look forward to partnering with, and working alongside them in order to improve upon an already great service to enhance the visitor experience for the next cruise ship season.” As Trinidad and Tobago is witnessing a thriving cruise 2023-2024, the season is nearing its end with the island having received a huge number of visitors throughout the season.
