St Lucia murder victim ‘bled to death’ at scene
One man remains in police custody over crime

A post-mortem examination has revealed a 59-year-old man bled to death after being stabbed during a fight in Trois Piton, Castries.
Police officers were called to an altercation on Saturday afternoon and medical staff were unable to save Leonard Felicien.
One man has been taken into custody and a local source told WIC News that he is assisting police with their enquires.
This incident is the twenty-first homicide for the year 2017.
‘Killer waved when arrested’
A post-mortem conducted yesterday showed that Felicien died due to loss of blood after a laceration to the left femoral artery.
According to unconfirmed reports in the local media, the weapon was a broken bottle.
The same report quotes an eyewitness as saying that the suspect “waved goodbye to people while entering the police van”.
