St Kitts and Nevis: Old Road police station relocated

The government in St Kitts and Nevis has announced that the Old Road police station has been temporarily relocated.
“Significant renovations” will take place to the current building over the coming months, the St Kitts and Nevis Information Service (SKNIS) said in a statement.
The police station can now be found on Main Street, Green Tree Housing. It is opposite the Faith Tabernacle Church.
Due to the move, the station can be now be reached on temporary telephone number 765-1554.
Members of the public can also call the police headquarters in Basseterre on 465-2241 and reports will be forwarded.
The relevant signs will be posted outside the new location.
“The Police High Command regrets any inconvenience this move may cause to the residents of this district and wishes to reassure them that their safety and security continue to be the number one priority,” said the SKNIS.
“The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force thanks you for your continued support and cooperation.”
