St Kitts-Nevis: Armed robbery in West Farm being investigated

The St. Kitts and Nevis Police are investigating an armed robbery incident that occurred in West Farm on June 18.
Investigations so far have revealed that approximately 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Jason Ghuman of Mattingley and Hannah Adamson of West Farm were driving along the Island Main Road from Ross University to West Farm in P 1897 driven by Ghuman. When they got to the residence of Adamson, they were approached by an armed assailant who demanded money. Ghuman exited the vehicle and the assailant opened fire and shot Ghuman in his right instep while Adamson was grazed by a bullet to the back of her head. The assailant then fled the scene in Ghuman's vehicle.
Both were transported to the JNF General Hospital to be treated for their injuries. Adamson was treated and discharged while Ghuman remains warded in stable condition.
The scene was processed by members of the Crime Scene Unit and items of evidential value were taken into police custody.
