Shark attack in Jamaica: 53-year-old fisherman killed
As per reports, a 53-year-old Jamaican was killed in a shark attack at sea on Saturday in Westmoreland. The deceased have been identified as Donovan Haywood, who was a fisherman by profession.

Kingston, Jamaica: As per reports, a 53-year-old Jamaican was killed in a shark attack at sea on Saturday in Westmoreland. The deceased have been identified as Donovan Haywood, who was a fisherman by profession.
The shark attack was so massive that other fishers had to free Donovan by shooting the shark. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospitals, where doctors declared him dead.
The attack happened when Donovan was underwater, and a shark attacked him by swinging off his arm; later, after freeing his body from a shark by shooting several shots, the shark swam away with his arm.
Donovan Haywood, who was popularly known as Doggie, was a resident of Darling Street in Savanna-la-mar.
The locals stated that Donovan left for fishing off the shores of Little Bay in Little London with his other fisherman friends at 8 am.
People stated that shark attacks never happened before, and it was the first such incident that has left people numb. Authorities have temporarily issued an alert and advised people not to go fishing in the sea in the particular area where the incident happened.
