Rugby Barbados 7s comes to an end, Barbados wins a bronze

JetBlue Barbados Men's rugby tournament was held from 13 December to 14 December in Kensington Oval at Barbados, where the Barbados team secured the third position.
In this competition,16 countries around the region, including the United States of America also participated. Champions Atlantis from Philadelphia secured the gold medals while Roots Rugby stood second.
As per reports, the bronze medal performance achieved by the Barbados team is the best result ever produced by the team in this tournament.
Joe Whipple, coach of Barbados team, stated that he is impressed by the team's massive performance against strong contenders like Atlantis.
They were winning against St Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force and Dead Pelicans from North California.
Bajan lads who came fourth overall last year delivered much more substantial and beat Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force 40-12 during their final encounter of the day.
In the tournament, females had a championship competition and American Rugby Professional Training Centre emerged champions 19-12 against Rugby Quebec. The third position went to leadership Angels of the United States.
