Premier Brantley encourages Upper St Johns residents to participate in Easter Clean-Up

According to the information provided by the Premier, the dumpsters will be placed at different locations including Cox, Church Ground, Beach Road, Cole Hill and Cane Garden.
While encouraging everyone to take an active part in the clean-up, Premier Brantley added that residents of those areas are asked to bring all white goods and take them to the dumpsters and the administration will take care of them free of charge.
He also said, “Asking for your help with our clean up of white goods in Upper St John’s this Easter. Please take old stoves, fridges, and microwaves to the dumpsters or place them outside your gate, and we will collect them and dispose of them free of charge.”The Premier said that this is a great way to keep Nevis clean and added, “WhatsApp the numbers on the flyer to ensure we get to your house. Remember, we were taught that cleanliness is next to Godliness. Let’s keep Nevis clean.”In addition to this, he added that people can contact [869] 662-6003 or [869] 667-3371 through WhatsApp for additional information.
The Community Clean Up is strived at dumping all the waste material which are taking up most of the spaces in the home but are not being used. People can dump their old stoves, fridges, microwaves and all other electronic items which they don’t need anymore.This time the clean up is being held in Upper St Johns constituency but it will be held in other parts of the island too during the Easter Season which will continue till April 2024.
