Police in St Kitts and Nevis investigating weekend shootings
Two incidents put men in hospital

Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit in St Kitts and Nevis are being kept busy after two shooting incidents over the weekend.
On Friday, 23 June, gunshots were heard in Halfway Tree at round 9pm.
A male resident of the area was injured and taken to Joseph N France Hospital.
Officers attached to Division B are looking into the matter, which they believe relates to a robbery.
Shot while walking
The attacker is currently “unknown”, police have said, and fled the scene after firing.
A second incident on Friday evening took place around the same time in Upper Cayon.
A 28-year-old male was shot while walking in the area.
He was also taken to JNF Hospital, and the assailant remains at large.
Police from the Violent Crimes Unit and officers of Cayon police station are investigating, and the Forensics Services Unit are said to be following both incidents.
There has been no word on whether the attacks are linked.
