Port of Spain: The UNC National Youth Arm condemned and dismisses the PNM Youth League on their attempt to be relevant in the national conversation by vilifying the Leader of the Opposition, SC Kamla Persad Bissessar.
The youth wing alleged, "In the (Keith) Rowley led gutter and obnoxious manner the PNM Youth League has attacked the Leader of the Opposition and the 19 elected Members of Parliament on the Opposition’s bench."The UNC Youth Arm suggested to the PNM Youth League that they should wheel and come again because this was not only off-target but an extremist approach to gaslight the situation and mislead the nation. "However, the population is becoming more aware of the PNM’s incompetence and nonsense as they themselves are revealing it as seen quite recently with the PNM’s failed attempt to vaccinate.""Is this same PNM Youth League who sat down and said nothing while the PNM Administration destroyed our education system? Is this the same PNM Youth League who raised no concern when the PNM’s policy decision and investment for the Youth of Trinidad and Tobago were expanding CEPEP and demolished GATE?"
UNC allegedly stated that the ruling party has lost credibility in the eyes of the youths for their failures.
"This kakistocracy of a government is supported by this weak, feeble and docile Youth League of the PNM whose only contribution in the national discussion has been to support the worst Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Christopher Rowley."
The UNC Youth Arm added that the PNM took away laptops from secondary school students, "so education may have been a miss for the PNM Youth League, so we sympathise with them and their lacklustre research."The UNC said that PNM Youth League can emerge into the national conversation from a policy perspective rather than a left foot right foot manner.
