PM Rowley out of isolation, tests negative for COVID19

After testing negative in the RT-PCR report, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley, came out of isolation after a period of about three weeks.

Office of Prime Minister on Tuesday announced that keeping with the health protocols, PM Rowley was tested for COVID19, and the result remains negative.

This leads to an ending of the Prime Minister's isolation at the official residence in Blenheim following the supervision of the healthcare professionals from the Tobago Regional Health Authority.

Dr Rowley stretches his deepest appreciation to the medical unit that provided proficient care during this phase.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago who prayed for his well-being and extended kind words of assistance over the last three weeks.

He also recognised those from the region and the broader international community who displayed concern and sent words of hope for his speedy recovery.

Following the experience of flu-like symptoms, PM Rowley was tested positive on April 5, 2021, during his visit to Tobago. He was immediately admitted to the local hospital and later shifted to his official residence.
