National Basketball Federation says 2020 events postponed due to COVID-19
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the National Basketball Federation of T&T, the Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) and almost all of International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Americas region have been influenced by the virus and as such 2020 Games carded for this year’s Calendar have been deferred.
According to a press release sent by NBFTT, FIBA has decided that in the best attention of the players, players all stakeholders that all events planned to take place before July 31, 2020 shall be postponed.,
As following steps, the FIBA regional office will coordinate with the Zone Competition Committee a probable new schedule for all competitions.
Once a final list is reassessed and approved by the Zone Executive Committee, the National Federations will be informed of the outcome.
