Grenada Caribbean Music Festival debuts with stellar lineup on June 22
Being hosted by Silver Sands, the unforgettable evening will boast mouthwatering food, thrilling music and a lot of fun.

Grenada: The inaugural Grenada Caribbean Music Festival (GCMF) is all set to make a splash on Saturday, June 22 on Port Louis Lawn. The festival will be a fusion of island vibes, reggae rhythms, soul and soca beats and will be an unforgettable experience for all the visitors.
Being hosted by Silver Sands, the unforgettable evening will boast mouthwatering food, thrilling music and a lot of fun. The organisers say that the festival promises to give patrons exciting music, featuring an extraordinary lineup of artists who embody the heart and soul of the Caribbean.
The exciting lineup comprises of a main cast of three local and two regional artistes including Jeverson, Sabrina Francis and Mr. Killa from Grenada, along with Jamaican reggae sensation LilaIke and the Soca Queen from Trinidad and Tobago, Patrice Roberts.
While outlining the concept behind the inaugural festival, the organizers revealed their objective to encourage tourism in the Caribbean region.
They outlined, “We want to try and help to promote Grenada as a regional destination so people from the other islands, Barbados, Trinidad, etc., will know more about Grenada and hopefully put it on their calendars to come and visit with us.”
Another objective of the festival is to promote Grenada to the diaspora and helping artists from Grenada to sort of get a leg up and get more international exposure.
Not only music, but the event will also feature various local vendors selling food or other things, making it much more exciting for the visitors.
The doors for the Grenada Caribbean Music Festival will open at 3 pm, and the show will begin at 5 pm. The vendor’s village will comprise diverse culinary treats along with a vibe tent with surprise entertainment, while the main stage will have a spectacular lineup of performers.
People can also enjoy themselves at well-stocked bars or get themselves clicked in numerous photo opportunities.
In addition to this, the food and drinks will be complimentary for General Plus ticket holders only, with food being available from 3 to 7 pm and drinks from 3 to 6 pm along with front-of-stage access.c
While the general admission begins at 100 EC dollars, the general plus costs around 250 EC. As of now, the early bird tickets cost much less, and people can purchase them through this LINK.
