Exasperating farrago of distortions being spread by UWP

The unprincipled showman masquerading as representative of public is spreading outright lies to the people of Dominica to wrist the power on the government. Leader of Opposition, Lennox Linton’s blatant allegations not only downgrading the national esteem, but also affecting the inhabitants of Dominica.

True leaders have integrity, which is very core of their influence. Living the values they profess to believe is what gives them credibility and allows others to place their trust in them. True leaders are able to say “do as I do” rather than just “do as I say” because they lead by example. Whereas Lennox Linton who leads the opposition United Workers Party in Commonwealth of Dominica has been levelling accusations on the government of embezzlement, yet he is inept to provide any evidence of his claims.

It is evident in world politics when the government is not conforming its duties, the opposition takes up the matter in the court of law to prove its allegations and bring justice. But in this scenario, rather taking the matter to the court of law, Linton speaking outright lies in public to bag some votes in upcoming general elections.

Just like any other Democracy in the world, the government of the Commonwealth of Dominica is getting hit by the opposition. United Workers Party which has not been in power in the last two decades is trying to convince people by telling lies of imaginary development their party did ages ago while being in power.

Furthermore, certain issues are being raised by the party just to mess with the peaceful environment of the nature island. UWP is trying to use the people of Dominica for their own good by forcing them to believe their untruthful agendas which, however, seem empty in the real world.

Lennox Linton and his party is trying to play the role of allegations which is played by the leaders in most of the democratic countries, but because he is out of any proclaim thus he is coming up with erroneous statements misleading the citizens.

Linton is giving pace to campaign on his allegation over EC $1.2 billion on the government, yet he is unable to prove the calculations he came up with Citizenship by Investment programme. Initially, the allegation saw public attraction as a number of Dominicans took up the banners to protest, by the time with the publication of PwC report stating CBI as a vital programme in rebuilding Dominica after natural disasters and most transparent CBIP across the Caribbean. In the result of that Linton’s allegation started to fade out of the real picture and he lost public support.

The CBI programme which has been applauded by various independent firms and even international leaders across the globe is being defaced by Lennox Linton. “If not CBI then what?” asked a resident of Roseau, Dominica from the opposition leader. On the condition of anonymity, the person said, “CBI scheme has given houses to the people and it is supporting Dominica to build back.”
