Dominican PM Skerrit congratulates Indian PM Modi on 3rd consecutive term
Dominican PM Skerrit said PM Modi's victory makes it certain that the two leaders will continue to work collaboratively in the future to strengthen Dominica-India ties.

The Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, extended his warm congratulations to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on winning a historic third term after his party secured a victory in the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
Dominican PM Skerrit said PM Modi's victory makes it certain that the two leaders will continue to work collaboratively in the future to strengthen Dominica-India ties.
Through a post on his official Twitter account, he outlined, "Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on historic victory in the Indian general elections." "As you embark on an unprecedented third term, I look forward to further deepening our ties and exploring new areas of collaboration for the prosperity of our nations," he further added. Several other Caribbean leaders also took to social media to extend their congratulations to the Indian leader.
Barbadian PM Mia Mottley noted that under his leadership, India has become a global leader and ally to Barbados and the Caribbean region and remarked, "Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his victory in India's elections, which has seen him secure an unprecedented third term." In addition to this, Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness said that Jamaica and India have enjoyed strong bilateral relations and he looks forward to the strengthening of their relationship for the mutual benefit of the people.On a more personal level, PM Holness emphasized that he has had the pleasure of working with Prime Minister Modi and welcomes opportunities for further collaboration and cooperation.
Other leaders from across the world have also congratulated the Bharatiya Janata Party Leader for staying in his seat for the 3rdconsecutive time. This is the first time after Nehru that a party won back-to-back for three terms.
