Dominica to welcome over 12000 cruise passengers this week

Dominica is all set to welcome a total of 11 cruise ships this week from March 4 to 10, 2024, with the island already receiving 4 cruises on Monday. The Ministry of Tourism anticipates welcoming over 12000 passengers throughout the week. On Monday, the island welcomed MV Silver Dawn, MV Royal Clipper, MV Star Flyer and MV Windsurf, all of which docked at different ports of the island. These cruises brought over 1100 passengers who disembarked to explore the mesmerizing beauty of the Commonwealth of Dominica. Today, the island will welcome two cruises, namely MV Costa Fortuna and SY Sea Cloud, which will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth and Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth, respectively. The Capital city will be bustling with cruise activity with the arrival of an anticipated 3780 visitors. On Wednesday, the island will welcome MV Norwegian Sky, bringing 2450 passengers at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth, while the following day, MV Silver Nova will bring 596 visitors and will dock at the same port. SY Sea Cloud II will dock at the Cabrits Port and will bring 300 passengers. In addition to this, on March 10, two cruises will arrive, namely MV Seven Seas Grandeur and MV Aidaperla, docking at Roseau and Woodbridge, respectively and bringing over 3800 passengers to the island nation.
