DLP to launch Dr Adis King on Sunday 25th of August
Prime Minister Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit on Sunday said that after the massive launch of Dr. Adis King for St. Joseph constituency, Dominica Labour Party (DLP) will move forward to launch candidate for the east coast constituency Salybia on September 8th.

Commonwealth of Dominica’s general elections are due by the year 2020. For the forthcoming elections, political parties are working with full energy to stake their hold on the government. Currently, Dominica Labour Party (DLP) holds the government office with a majority of 16 Parliament Representatives out of total 21.
DLP is on the streak to launch its candidates occupying the Sundays with the launch events of candidates in several Parliament segments across the country. The party will be launching another candidate Dr Adis King on the 25th of August for St. Joseph constituency.
The launch of Dr. Adis King will be one of the astounding candidate launches as DLP is expecting an enormous number of gathering at the occasion which will be held at Playing Field, St. Joseph on coming Sunday. After the success of Marigot launch event, DLP volunteers' energy is on the peak to support the 'red party' in pushing forward a stronger campaign under the leadership of Dr Roosevelt Skerrit.
On last Sunday at the launch event of Gregory Riviere Prime Minister of Commonwealth of Dominica Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit said, “Next Sunday afternoon we shall journey to one of the most exciting meeting places for Labour. Next Sunday we dock this ship at the port of St. Joseph and we officially welcome aboard Dr. Adis King. We shall pick up Dr. King and in two weeks from August 25th we shall journey to Salybia that will be around the time of back to school, so we shall start early and finish early.”
St Joseph constituency which additionally incorporates Layou and Mero, is under the domination of the DLP since the year 2005. Dr Adis King will supplant Kelver Dwight Darroux who has been elected twice in a row in the year 2009 and 2014 defeating Monell Williams and Henry John Abraham of UWP with vote share of 58.8% and 55.6% respectively.

Individuals from Morne Prosper, Laudat, Shawfird /Fird Canie, Cochrane, Wotten Waven, St. Joseph and every single other part of the island will assemble at the launch event of Dr. Adis King. Dominica Labour Party’s Dr. Adis King will be contesting against United Worker Party’s candidate Monelle Williams Jno-Baptiste.
For the upcoming parliamentary elections in Commonwealth of Dominica, 21 parliament representatives from various constituencies will be chosen by the people of the Island. Dominica Labor Party is quickly propelling its candidates for these particular seats though United Workers Party has already announced the 21 candidates for the general decisions in a single gathering months ago.
