The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew, shared glimpses of the ongoing infrastructural development in the Federation on his official Facebook account. He said that the work on Conaree Stadium, St. Peter's main road, and the well in Cayon is progressing well. The work on all these sites is progressing at a rapid pace with the Prime Minister expressing its optimism on the timely completion of these.  The construction of the Conaree Stadium began on April 10 with a groundbreaking ceremony that marked the beginning of work on the new football stadium.  According to the information, the plans for the new stadium include a two-storey pavilion comprised of changing rooms, bathrooms, bleachers, media center, a commentator's booth, and bars. The stadium will also be accessible for the differently abled people.  The Ministry of Public Infrastructure and the Public Works Department are making progress towards the Rehabilitation of the St. Peter's Main Road and F. T. Williams Highway East Project. This project was noticeably left out of the previous government's road rehabilitation project. Prime Minister Drew is the Parliamentary Representative for St. Peter'sand as such expressed immense satisfaction that his residents will soon benefit from significantly improved infrastructure. This project entails resurfacing the road beginning at the roundabout by the R. L. Bradshaw International Airport along the F.T. Williams Highway, passing the Shadwell roundabout to New Road, and ending at Ogees. Meanwhile, the government of St Kitts and Nevis engaged the BEAD to drill a well in the Cayon Community. The drilling of the well began in June 2023 is nearing completion. The team is making the final pump connections to the water well.  With the construction of this well, the government aims to address the water issues which arises due to the changes in climate. Prime Minister Drew said, "The long awaited well in Cayon is progressing and undergoing extensive testing." As the Prime Minister shared glimpses of the developments on his official Facebook account, the citizens and residents of St Kitts and Nevis expressed their excitement and said that they are looking forward to the completion of these projects.  "I love seeing all the new infrastructure being laid and upgraded," wrote a user named Tom Edleston while another user said, "Welcome home PM you really working around the clock keep up the magnificent work."
