Antigua welcomes 3 baby girls on New Year

While welcoming them to the world, the SLBM Centre said, "New year, new babies! While we're all entering 2024 with a fresh start, some families are starting their year with a new bundle of joy - All girls!"

Antigua and Barbuda: The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre celebrated the birth of three baby girls on the day of New Year. As per reports, the first baby was born at 12:32 am on January 1st. While welcoming the little angles to the world, the SLBM Centre said, "New year, new babies! While we're all entering 2024 with a fresh start, some families are starting their year with a new bundle of joy - All girls!" Ndea Joseph is a proud mom to one of the first to arrive just around thirty-two minutes into the new year. Her little girl was born at 12:32 am, weighing 6lbs 11½ ozs.  Just an hour later, the second baby was born to mom Novelette Smith, weighing 7lbs 2½ ozs. Not to be left out, Shary-Mae Josiah's baby girl arrived at 2:38 pm, just about one hour later, weighing 6lbs. 8½ ozs. It is to be noted that all the mothers and their babies are in perfect condition and are doing well.  The SLBM Centre asked all the citizens and residents to join them and congratulate the proud parents. "Thank you for making SLBMC a part of your birth story," they added.

Notably, Sagicor General Insurance Inc. has also kept up with its tradition of gifting New Year babies every year. They gifted the three mothers with a package made of stuffed toys, water bottles and other cute things which the baby could use in her early months. The citizens and residents of Antigua and Barbuda also congratulated them through social media.  "Congrats to all mothers, Well Done, Sagicor," wrote a user named Carol Joseph, while another user said, "Congratulations, Shari Mae, from your neighbours at Courts."
