St Vincent and the Grenadines: American Airlines and Air Canada are introducing additional flights to St Vincent, which will make travel easier for travellers from Miami and Toronto.  American Airlines will be providing its services from Miami to St Vincent three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. According to the information, the airline will expand this service to six times a week for November and December 2024. During this period, the flights will be available on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. American Airlines has asked the passengers to book their tickets as bookings are already open for November and December since January 23. Every year, this airline reduces its services in summer while it increases in winter according to the market demand. On the other hand, Air Canada will be flying from Toronto to St Vincent four times a week till March 29, 2024. The airline is providing services on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  In addition to this, from April 7 to October 20, 2024, this airline will provide services one time a week on Sundays.  The expansion of these services will benefit the country as a whole and will bring more visitors to the island nation. While announcing the Schedule for 2024, the Tourism Authority of St Vincent said that this will enable travellers to travel to the Caribbean island throughout this year. Notably, Tourism Minister Carlos James also announced during a recent press conference that initial 2023 January to December data showed an increase of 35.7 per cent in arrivals as compared to the same period in 2022.  He said that he remains positive and anticipates a much greater increase in air arrivals throughout 2024. James outlined, "While arrivals became increasingly unstable and unpredictable, regional aviation service continued and had a significant effect on regional travel. As small airlines expand their fleet to meet year-round travel demand, inter-island and regional airlift is anticipated to improve." Furthermore, the island also receives flights from London Heathrow, with Virgin Atlantic providing services three weeks a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. Meanwhile, Caribbean Airlines also flies from New York's John F Kennedy Airport twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
