Air Canada to resume Toronto to Saint Lucia flights from November 7 onwards

Saint Lucia is all set to revive its destructed economy with the approaching tourism season to the island as vacations are coming near. Air Canada has announced to resume its services from November 7 onwards.
Air Canada is prepared to relaunch its nonstop services from Toronto to Saint Lucia through weekly flights on every Saturday.
The Canadian carrier would also increase the number of flights on December onwards. Saint Lucia Tourism Authorities declared that by December, Air Canada will be having three direct flights to Saint Lucia per every week.
The resume of flights between Saint Lucia and Tronto is likely to revive the tourism sector of the country which has been suffering due to coronavirus.
Saint Lucia's economy entirely depends on tourism sector; the closer of this part has resulted in massive losses and recession in the country.
The Caribbean island nation reopened its borders in June 2020 after remaining closed due to the coronavirus lockdowns.
Saint Lucia has been extremely lenient when it comes to welcoming tourists amid coronavirus crisis. Authorities state that over 16,000 travellers arrived from the United Kingdom and the United States since the country opened borders in June this year.
The economy of the country is destructed as Prime Minister Allen Chastanet declared that "Saint Lucia is broke". However, the recommencement of international flights to the country is likely to bring it back to normal.
