8-year-old Trinidadian Coryn Anaya Clarke featured in Forbes

An eight-year-old girl from Trinidad and Tobago, Coryn Anaya Clarke, has been featured in the renowned international magazine Forbes. The magazine talked about the young girl's journey as an author and her love for the twin island nation.
Clarke has written seven books, and she keeps fans engaged on social media by regularly posting about everything happening in the Caribbean, from food festivals to huge carnivals.[embed]https://twitter.com/TourismTT/status/1433522979502268419[/embed]
While sharing this amazing news, the girl took to Facebook and expressed her excitement. She said, "Guys, I have some amazing news, but I'll start with this: I am featured in Forbes magazine talking about my journey as an author and my love for Trinidad and Tobago."Forbes highlighted her under the headline 'Exploring Trinidad's Culinary Landscape Through the Eyes of a Child'.
While appreciating Clarke, Forbes wrote that born to a Trinidadian mother and Kittitian father, the eight year old is not like most other girls of her age. It added that not only is she a published author of seven books, but she is also a cultural ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago.Clarke's social media is filled with knowledge about various traditions, music, festivals and food of Trinidad and Tobago.

Coryn Anaya Clarke went on this journey back in April 2023, and she was delighted to be part of this amazing tour. Clarke outlined, "I love learning new things, meeting new people and exploring every possible thing that makes my country special. The Totally Toco Food Tour made it possible for me to do all three today!" The young girl is determined to do big things in life. In a recent interview, she was asked about her plans for 2024, to which she replied, "I have big plans for 2024. I want to host the second annual Chronicles of Coryn Children's Book Festival, and it is going to be even bigger and better than 2023."[embed]https://twitter.com/jojobirrd/status/1700184572737073386[/embed]
She added that she is a picky eater so there are a lot of Trini foods she has not tried yet, so one of her resolutions is to try callaloo and bake and shark. Clarke also wants to learn to dance the pasodoble. "Another big thing for me is to restart my book club and increase my efforts to make sure all the children in Trinidad and Tobago have books to read.
