British Airways resumes flights to Barbados from Heathrow Airport

British Airways resumed its flights of the relaunched year-round daily services from London Heathrow airport to Barbados on October 17.

The Boeing 777-200 arrived in Bridgetown to a gracious Bajan welcome, including the Royal Barbados Police Force Band performing at the arrivals off the plane.

Barbados Tourism Marketing Incorporation's Director for the United Kingdom Cheryl Carter also boarded the inaugural flight which included total nineteen British travel agents who are in Barbados to experience the island.

All COVID-19 travel guidelines have been taken into consideration on the arrival of the flight. Their island tour will consist of adventure landscapes of Barbados, from catamaran cruises to travels of historic Bridgetown, and dining at several of the country's finest restaurants.

Carter stated that they are delighted to embrace the inaugural British Airways flight from Heathrow to Barbados on Saturday. The aircraft highlighted make new livery everywhere as well as the original BA Club Suite.

Carter added that the flight was 80% full, with families, remote-workers and several extremely thrilled to avoid the shivering coming winter.

This British Airways service will mark the commencement of an impressive new chapter, with its seamless bonds throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
