Nepal’s weather conducive for search operation of 4 Korean climbers, 3 local guides

Rescuers exploited improved climate on Nepal's Mount Annapurna to press ahead with a quest for four South Korean climbers and three Nepali aides and have a potential area for them, authorities said Wednesday.

Nine warriors and seven regular citizen rescuers were burrowing through ice and snow on the Annapurna trekking trail and had gained ground in deciding their likely whereabouts, said armed force representative Bigyan Dev Pandey.

Khum Bahadur Subedi of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal, another office engaged with the activity, said they are planning to have a superior thought of the area by this evening.

South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the missing nationals were two ladies in their 30s and 50s and two men in their 50s, all educators who were making a charitable effort in Nepal.
