Any person found selling IBIZA cigarettes to pay $50,000 fine in Trinidad and Tobago
The Trinidad and Tobago police services declared on Thursday declared that a shipment carrying IBIZA cigarettes were stolen from the Port of Spain.

The authorities declared that any person caught selling or distributing the stolen cigarettes would be in breach of the Customs Act 78:01 Section 213.
The authorities said under the breach of the customs law, the person will be liable for paying fifty thousand dollars or treble of the value of goods. The convicted individual can also be jailed for eight years.In this regard, the TTPS is advising the public members that these items were not subject to customs procedures and would be considered uncustomed goods.
The police said anyone with information of the unlawful sale or distribution of the cigarettes is urged to contact the TTPS at 999, 555, call CRIME STOPPERS at 800-TIPS or contact your local police station or report it via the TTPS App or the TTPS website.
