West Indies Cricket tour in Pakistan under jeopardy after three player test COVID positive
Three more members of the West Indies Cricket Team have tested COVID-19 positive in Pakistan, leading questions to cancel the tour. West Indies Cricket Board (CWI) is meeting with its Pakistan counterpart on Thursday to consider whether the rest of the tour should be called off.

The boards of CWI were meeting to "consider whether the tour can proceed," according to a statement released only hours before the third Twenty20 International was set to begin in Karachi.

In addition, the West Indies will play three one-day international matches in Pakistan.

After Wednesday's tests, wicketkeeper Shai Hope, spinner Akeal Hosein, and all-rounder Justin Greaves, as well as assistant coach Roddy Estwick and physician Akshai Mansingh, were all found to be positive.

"As a result, all three players will miss the following matches, and all five individuals will stay isolated from the rest of the West Indies group," said the CWI.

"They'll be kept in isolation for 10 days or until their PCR test results come back negative."

Sheldon Cottrell, Roston Chase, and Kyle Mayers, all-rounders, all already tested positive after arriving in Pakistan.

Devon Thomas, the West Indies' batter, is also out due to a finger injury received in the first T20 encounter.
