US Welcomes Saudi's Verdict in Journalist Khashoggi's Murder Case as 'Important Step'

The United States on Monday invited capital punishments gave by Saudi Arabia against five individuals over the homicide of writer Jamal Khashoggi.
"The present decisions were a significant advance in considering those answerable for this horrendous wrongdoing responsible," a State Department official told columnists after the decision, which was attacked as a tragedy by Turkey, rights gatherings, and The Washington Post, to which Khashoggi contributed.
