Kamina Johnson Smith shares glimpse of her successful Africa tour
Kamina Johnson Smith- Jamaican Minister of Foreign Affairs & Foreign Trade, is currently on an official visit to several countries as she promotes her candidature as the "commonwealth secretary".

During her visit, Smith will also be engaging with Heads of State & FM of Commonwealth countries.
One of the primary stops of her visits was the countries in Africa, "Very much looking forward to my engagements with brother and sister countries in Africa this week as we discuss bilateral matters as well as the potential of our #Commonwealth," she added.
Smith will also be visiting Lesotho- A country in Southern Africa, to meet her counterpart to discuss international relations.The Jamaican Foreign Minister also recently visited New York and met dignitaries of various countries. She also met the Ambassador of Guyana to the United Nations, Carolyn Rodriques-Birkett.
"It was a pleasure to meet with H.E. Carolyn Rodriques-Birkett, Amb of Guyana to the UN to underscore the importance of bilateral, regional & multilateral cooperation b/n and Our discussions on the Commonwealth and my bid for SG were also greatly appreciated," Tweeted Smith.
She also met Munir Akram- Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, "In NY, it was a pleasure to meet with H.E. Munir Akram, @PakistanPR_UN, whose significant experience in NY and Geneva is reflected in his global perspectives. I enjoyed our exchange of views, including on my candidature for the role of #Commonwealth #SG #KJSforCSG,".
Besides this, Indian President Ramnath Kovind will also be visiting Jamaica. This is the first be first ever visit by an Indian President to Jamaica.
