Dominica Festival Committee has nominated Jorjanna Albert- the #1 contestant for the most awaited Miss Dominica 2024. This national pageant will be held on February 8 at Windsor Sports Park Sports Stadium, Carnival City (Roseau). It is an exciting grand competition of beauty, grace, and intelligence is a show to remember. It will feature several contestants who will compete against each other for the prestigious Title of Miss Dominica 2024.

The 20-year-old Jorjanna Albert will be sponsored by Auto Trade Ltd. & Fine Foods Jimmit, and MediaLinx.

She's all set to represent herself in this national pageant show. The Dominica Festival committee has introduced her and shared some of the glances from her impressive pre-photoshoot at Portsmouth Beach in perfect Swimwear by Shammah Laurent Custom Apparel.

About Jorjanna Albert

Hails from the serene and the small village of Laudat, she is a successful entrepreneur, proprieter and a makeup and beauty enterprise.

While Considering her Academics, Albert is also a proud graduate of the Convent High School and Dominica State College. She has achieved an associate's degree in accounting and business administration with a specialization in finance and, from a very young age, has developed a strong zeal and drive for accounting and finance.

She's also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of the West Indies Global Campus.

Currently, she is working as an accounts Receivable Clerk at Auto Trade Ltd. Albert enjoys cooking trendy delicacies, singing, reading romance novels, listening to old-school R&B, and watching television series.

Besides this, she has also been developed for modelling and believes it is important for her to be a perfect role model for peers and colleagues and a voice for the mute.

Further, Albert has also served as the second vice president of the National Youth Council of Dominica from 2021 to 2023.

She's also specialized in American Sign Language in performances and has served on the executive of UMOJA CHS' Sign Language Club from 2017 to 2020 as a Public Relations Officer, First Vice President and President, respectively.
