United Airlines to begin flying to St Vincent and the Grenadines this year: Reports
St Vincent and the Grenadines: USA based United Airlines is all set to start flights to St Vincent and the Grenadines this year as it aims to expand its connectivity in the Caribbean region. The specific date of the beginning of the services have not been yet revealed by the authorities but will be soon announced. The development was announced by Adam Stewart, the Executive Chairman of the Sandals, who revealed it during the launch of the company’s latest resort in the twin island nation. He said that United Airlines and JetBlue will start flying to St Vincent in 2024.

According to the information, the United Airlines flight will be taking off from Newark International Airport which is located between the cities of Elizabeth in Union County and Newark in Essex County, New Jersey, USA, while JetBlue will be flying from New York’s John F Kennedy Airport.

Chairman Stewart said that JetBlue and United Airlines will fly to this Caribbean destination for the first time while Air Canada will be doubling its operations.

He outlined that all tides would rise with the Sandals effect, which will mean an increased airlift convenience for Vincentian travellers. Stewart also added that it will enable visitors to access this magnificent, untouched destination more easily than they have ever done before.

It is to be noted that this development is coming to reality after the launch of the Sandals Resort in St Vincent, which is anticipated to attract a number of visitors to the island nation. Following the announcement, the citizens and residents of St Vincent and the Grenadines appreciated the Prime Minister of the country, Ralph Gonsalves and the Tourism Ministry for collaborating with several international airlines.

“Welcome and welcome. Pm you are the man of vision you said built it and they will come and before our eyes they are coming,” wrote a user named Marjorie Ambris. Another user named Nigel Joseph said, “I am so happy to be alive to see all that is happening to our country.”
