SKN COVID update: 5 new infections confirmed, 59.4% population is fully vaccinated
As per the COVID-19 situation report shared by the Health Ministry of St Kitts and Nevis, five COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of the active coronavirus cases to 44, as of 27 July 2021.

Out of the total confirmed COVID-19 cases, 558 coronavirus infections have been reported on St Kitts, while twenty COVID-19 cases have been reported in Nevis.
As of 27 July 2021, the sister island has reported three deaths amid the COVID-19 pandemic.As per the Health Ministry's COVID-19 report, out of the novel coronavirus tests conducted at the twin-islands, a total of 25,166 individuals have been tested negative for the deadly virus.
According to the COVID-19 vaccination statistics, till 27 July 2021, 59.4 per cent that is (19,625) of St Kitts and Nevis population is now fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, whereas 71.8 per cent of the SKN population has received their first jab of the coronavirus. On the twin islands, a total of 43,338 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, out of which a total of 33,367 doses were administered on St Kitts, and 9,970 doses were administered on the Nevis island, as of 27 July 2021.Worldwide, there are around 194,608, 040 confirmed cases of the contagious coronavirus, while 177,513,298 individuals have been recovered from the COVID-19 infection.
The world so far has reported 4,170 155 deaths because of the deadly COVID-19 mutant. In addition, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Timothy Harris,has also requested and encouraged the citizens to take jabs of their COVID-19 vaccines as soon as possible in order to fight and defeat the deadly mutant.
