St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew was delighted to join the children at Conaree Community Center for the Easter egg hunt and party. He said that it was an enjoyable afternoon with the kids, who had a good time on Sunday.

“The children had a wonderful time, and even the parents joined in the fun and participated in a game of musical chairs,” said PM Drew.

While sharing the glimpses of the event on his official Facebook account, the Prime Minister lauded and thanked Natasana Morson and the entire Conaree Social Club who organized and helped to make this event a memorable one for the children.

During the event, children and parents enjoyed various snacks such as hot dogs, bbq wings, sandwiches, cotton candy and frayco. They also participated in the prized picture-taking session with the Easter Bunny.

The occasion of Easter is celebrated with numerous events and activities across St Kitts and Nevis, with people utilising the day to enjoy with friends and family members. The events were hosted from March 29 to 31 in different constituencies of the country. Even the Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, had a great time with the children of East Basseterre at the annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by East Basseterre Youth on the Go on Saturday, March 30th, 2024.

The children focused on amassing the highest number of eggs to secure the prize for the most eggs found. Deputy PM Hanley said that various gifts were awarded to the children this year, including exercise books, pens, pencils, toys, candies, snack boxes, and loads of eggs.

He also appreciated the participation of parents who enjoyed seeing the children participating and having a great time being part of the festivities.

Meanwhile, the citizens and residents of the Federation also lauded the leaders for coming out and joining the children.

“These simple things leave an everlasting impression in the eyes of our youth. Taking back our nation one step at a time. Keep up the amazing work,” wrote a user named Stuart Nigel, while another user said, “And I want to say thanks to you and your wonderful wife for coming and having a wonderful time. God's blessing, the CSC will have more in store for the children off concrete.”
