Days after PricewaterhouseCooper popularly known as PwC presented its report on Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI), after which opposition leaders have come up with several questions and allegations on the DLP government in this regard.

PwC positions as the second largest professional services firm in the world and is one of the big four auditors. The report by PwC was released after the examination in the nation for a particular timespan and the help of government was additionally taken in methods for gathering the information.

However, opposition appears to be vague by the report released by the independent firm. Now, another video has turned into a viral sensation on Whatsapp where a number of natives of the nation are seen expressing their perspective over the Citizenship by Investment report released by PwC. In the video, an unnamed lady said, "my opinion is that if Dominica is getting money from CBI and we can see what CBI money is doing for Dominica because we see new hotels, roads are building and Prime Minister is credible enough. We can see houses are being built for people. If the opposition is going against that (CBI) and wants to be the next Prime Minister of Dominica can you go to those people and ask for their assistance, that is the question I as a common citizen would like to ask the opposition. For me they (opposition) are not credible, UWP cannot make a statement just like that. If we are going to follow the viewpoint of opposition we will lose the money and assistance we are getting by CBI.”

In addition to that, the humble lady said, "Less than two years ago natural catastrophe has destroyed the nation, but in this short period Dominica has come a long way everybody is shocked to see Dominica because it has rebuilt itself in that short period.”

Another gentleman in the video said, "I think that the opposition is missing something and they are trying to make up a steam out of nothing that is not there by accusing the government by saying 1.2 billion dollars are missing but now even though an independent auditor doing the report but they are not accepting it , but PwC is only reporting what is there and what is not.”

Following the sequence, another man expressed his feelings saying, "The opposition is trying to mislead the people because it is clear as we have heard in the article that you cannot report something that is not there and you cannot spend money that you don’t have. Government has clearly stated and even international auditor firm PwC said that the report they gave is what has been spent and they can also prove it. We have to be careful as we the people of Dominica listen to all kind of propaganda but we must not fall for the lies of the opposition. We should continue to support what is good for our country.”
