Jamaica: A man identified as Aubrey Roberton was found dead with a cut throat in Rocky Point, Clarendon, on Saturday night (January 20). This marked the first homicide in the Parish region for the year 2024.
According to the reports, a few minutes before the incident occurred, a loud disturbance was reported to the police by the local community members near Bubbla Vibes around 11:50 PM.
The Police immediately arrived at the spot and initiated their investigation. After a while, a man was found unresponsive, lying on the road with some deep injuries, particularly from a knife slashing around his neck region. He was taken to the hospital immediately but was later announced dead by the doctors.
Meanwhile, during an ongoing investigation and questioning with the community members, the Police have successfully collected a few pieces of evidence about the victim.
The officials have reported that the young male, who is identified as Aubrey Roberton, is suspected to be an unknown. A few minutes ago, he arrived at the location in his grey Toyota car, parked a few meters away from the scene.
Previously, another incident of fatal killing came to light in Jamaica at the same time from another region in Jamaica, where a female security guard was fatally shot by a lone masked gunman who tried to enter a house through the back door in St Mary at night.
