Even though Royal Caribbean has not announced its full protocols for its summer voyages on Adventure of the Seas, face masks are not required on its private island.
Face masks were a major point of discussion among cruise lovers who want to know where and when to wear masks, but Royal Caribbean has confirmed that face masks are not required on Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Royal Caribbean's senior vice president, sales, trade assistance and service, Vicki Freed, affirmed during a webinar to travel agents that the nature of the private island does not wear a mask on the island.
From June 12, Adventure of the Seas begins sailing from Nassau, Bahamas, and presents the private island for two consecutive days.
"On Perfect Day at CocoCay, because it's our private destination and everyone living on the island will get vaccinated and all guests 18 years and older will be vaccinated. You do not have to wear a mask when you visit Perfect is not Day at CocoCay, '' Freed said during the opening of her call with travel agents.
Mrs Freed said Royal Caribbean is still working on where people still have to wear masks, including the other ports the ship will visit.
